Spent some time yesterday helping with the Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada community meal.

It was a really full day and I could only stay for about an hour—but I’m really glad I made the time. Moments like that are a good reminder that even a little time can go a long way.

Honored to attend the Iranian American Bar Association’s Nowruz celebration yesterday afternoon—an experience that was both enlightening and deeply meaningful.

Nowruz marks renewal, reflection, and community. It was a privilege to learn more about these traditions and connect with members of our legal community in such a thoughtful setting.

Las Vegas is strongest when we take the time to understand and appreciate the diverse communities we serve.

From the bench, public safety is something you see up close. It’s shaped by good policing, strong leadership, and systems that support both accountability and fairness.

Conversations like these matter — because safer communities don’t happen by accident. They’re built through thoughtful, results-driven leadership.

And, as always, a big thank you to Peter Guzman and his incredible team for leading by example and creating an environment for these conversations to happen.
