For more than seven years, she has served as a Pro Tem Judge, presiding over the same cases, courtrooms, and decisions required of a full-time Municipal Court Judge.

She is the only candidate in this race with actual judicial experience.

Since 2019, Jessica has been trusted by sitting Municipal Court Judges to step into their courtrooms and preside over cases in their absence—a responsibility reserved for attorneys with demonstrated judgment, professionalism, and command of the law.

In that role, she has handled the full scope of municipal court proceedings, including:

• Initial appearances and arraignments

• Motions and evidentiary hearings

• Bench trials and sentencing
